Why I built this

I never did well in a traditional classroom. I learned by doing, out in the real world. That's the only reason I have the career I do.

I spent about two decades in technical operations. It's the kind of work where the regulations run dense and the standards stay exacting, and one small mistake matters. My job wasn't only to master that material. I also had to teach it to other people and get them certified to the same standards. Along the way I picked up design, web, photography, and marketing on my own. That's how I've always learned best. You use it, and you get better at it.

Here's what I figured out. People don't usually fail to learn. They fail to fit one narrow way of being taught. So I built DroneWorthy to meet you where you are. Read it, watch it, listen to it, or just start doing it. Whatever works for how you think.

I also built it to be honest about the test itself. The Part 107 exam rewards a few specific skills: reading real charts, using the one reference booklet you're allowed, and dodging the trap answers. Most courses teach the content and stop there. We teach you to actually pass. And to walk away a pilot who knows what they're doing once the certificate is in hand.

And I used it myself. I studied with this exact system, sat the Part 107, and passed on my first take. I'm an FAA-certificated remote pilot now, flying commercially. That's the only reason I'm comfortable asking you to trust it. I didn't just build it and hand it to you. I built it and bet my own certificate on it.
